A Colorful Journey of a Jaguar
Entering our second year of implementing the New South Wales program with a vision to nurture happy digital citizens, SISS continuously strives to create a positive, healthy, creative, and inspiring learning environment for students.
For Minh Thu, a Year 4 Jaguar, every school day is a new adventure with her teachers and friends. In the warm and welcoming SISS community, she enjoys meaningful learning experiences, fully embraces every opportunity, and nurtures a deep sense of happiness. Minh Thu shared, “I enjoy delicious meals, learn valuable knowledge from my beloved teachers, and grow alongside kind and friendly classmates.”
Accompanying every student’s journey of knowledge are dedicated teachers who always strive to provide the best for their students. To Minh Thu, SISS teachers are always ready to support and guide her through any challenge. “That is one of the reasons why I love studying at SISS. Among all my teachers, my favorite is Ms. Binh, my Homeroom Teacher. She stands out with her radiant smile and sparkling eyes. Her wavy hair sways gently as she teaches and guides us at SISS. Every day, she delivers engaging lessons and takes care of us with great dedication. She patiently helps me understand the lessons more effectively whenever I struggle,” Minh Thu added.
An inspiring learning environment also means investing in facilities and resources that empower students to explore new knowledge and develop essential skills. Among the many exciting subjects, Minh Thu’s favorite is Food Tech. “I feel extremely excited every time I step into the Food Tech room to make cookies and gingerbread. There’s nothing better than making delicious treats with my own hands and enjoying them afterward!” she exclaimed.
Beyond the classroom, students also love the freedom to explore the world outside of school, where they can discover new things, build confidence, and strengthen their connections. As an energetic and curious girl, Minh Thu is always thrilled about Field Trips. “My most memorable trip was to Snow Town last Christmas. We had so much fun sledding, throwing snowballs, and unwinding after school. My friend Kha Han and I had an amazing time playing together and making unforgettable memories. These experiences have added vibrant colors to my learning journey at my beloved SISS.”
