Jaguars Join Hands for the Community
In response to the humanitarian message of International Peace Day, Jaguars have come together to carry out meaningful activities, spreading love and a spirit of solidarity with the goal of building a more peaceful world.
Veteran Quach Minh Son once said, “Freedom and peace are not easy. What we have now, we must strive to preserve”. This serves as a profound reminder of the value of independence, freedom, and peace. As students of a happy School and the next generation to lead the future, Jaguars are always deeply aware of the importance of cherishing, protecting, and preserving peace.
With the motto: “Young age, small work”, SISS students have joined hands to carry out small yet meaningful actions to spread the humanitarian message of International Day of Peace on September 21 (Peace Day) and work towards a happy future through various purposeful activities.
Actively Participating in Peace Day
Participating in Peace Day activities, Jaguars donned green shirts to transform the happy schoolyard into a “sea of peace”. In the joyful atmosphere of the event, students had the freedom to create individual and group artworks that were both visually striking and meaningful. These were not only works filled with the students’ dedication but also symbols representing the spirit of unity, love, and the aspiration for peace within the Sydney School community. The carefully crafted words that Jaguars wrote on each piece conveyed meaningful messages of peace.

In addition to spreading the message of peace under the theme “Act Now for a Peaceful World”, initiated by the United Nations, Sydney School students personally created artworks about peace, boldly sharing their thoughts on maintaining good friendships and suggesting ways to prevent violence. With boundless creativity, skillful hands, and loving hearts, Jaguars wholeheartedly conveyed a series of personal messages on the theme of peace. All members of the Sydney School community have joined hands for a world that is peaceful, free, and beautiful. Check out these meaningful creations by Jaguars here.

Sharing with the Community through the Piggy Bank Fundraising Campaign
Peace is not only reflected in preventing violence or speaking kindly, but also in taking responsibility for the community. While studying and playing in a modern environment, Jaguars always carry love in their young hearts and are committed to taking action for a happier community. That is why they have eagerly joined the Piggy Bank Fundraising Campaign to support students in remote mountainous areas through the School’s community project “Tay Bac: One Brick – A Million Dreams” under the Community Fund “Build A Better Tomorrow”. Each day, Jaguars save a small amount to “nurture” their piggy banks, sending love and encouragement to help students in the mountainous regions continue their educational journey.
