September: Together and Thriving

Not only active in their lessons, Jaguars across all year levels also enthusiastically joined activities and events throughout the month, recharging their energy, nurturing beautiful friendships, and broadening their horizons.

Exploring History Through Learning Field Trips

Recently, Elementary Jaguars visited the History Museum of HCMC – home to more than 40,000 national artifacts. Here, the students not only observed historical relics from different eras but also listened to fascinating stories shared by their teachers. These moments allowed them to journey back in time, gaining a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s ancestors and learning to appreciate the cultural and traditional values of the nation.

The Independence Palace also welcomed Jaguars during their September Field Trip. By exploring functional rooms, artifacts, documents, and photos related to the historic moment of April 30, 1975, the students strengthened their patriotism and discovered the unique architecture of this historical landmark. At the same time, they were encouraged to take initiative in learning through hands-on experiences, all while nurturing their creativity.

Strengthening Bonds Through Assembly Sessions

Assemblies are among the regular activities held for students at SISS. September’s Assembly was kicked off with excitement and high energy, providing Jaguars with the chance to reflect on the month’s highlights and prepare for upcoming activities in October.

A special spotlight was placed on the Student of the Month Award. This award is designed to honor students who best embody the spirit of the SISS community. Beyond academic performance, the award also celebrates qualities such as effort, progress, leadership, kindness, and commitment to the School’s values.

With the support of the PDHPE (Personal Development, Health and Physical Education) teacher, the Assembly sessions also equipped Jaguars with essential knowledge and skills to maintain positive energy, manage academic pressures, and protect themselves from the negative impacts of social media.
