Conquering 2026 together
Looking ahead to a promising new year, our Jaguars have set inspiring goals filled with determination and care. Let us listen to their stories together and look forward to a new year filled with hope, effort, and belief.
“Over the past year, I had the opportunity to take part in activities to donate books and milk to children at Anh Sang Shelter and Ky Quang 2 Pagoda. Together with my teachers and friends, I prepared small gifts with the hope of bringing joy to children in difficult circumstances. When the gifts were given, and I saw their bright smiles, I felt truly happy and warm inside.
I realized that even a small action can bring great meaning to others. Helping and sharing have helped me grow more mature, more caring, and more loving. I understand that kindness does not need to be grand; it only needs to come from a sincere heart. These experiences have left me with many beautiful emotions and unforgettable memories.
I hope that in the new year, students of Sydney School will continue to carry out meaningful activities for the community together. Let us spread love through kind actions every day, because when we know how to share, the world becomes warmer and better.”
Tat Dien Phong, a Jaguar with a compassionate heart, used simple yet powerful words to share the joys he gathered over the past year, as well as his hopes for the year ahead.
As for the younger Jaguars, although they may not yet fully understand the meaning of setting goals, with hope for a better version of themselves, they still have their own wishes as the new year arrives. Do Phuong Tue Lam, an adorable young Jaguar, shared: “In the joyful atmosphere of welcoming Tet 2026, I hope to receive lots of lucky money. Besides that, I set goals to do better in Science, English, and Math, and I also want to draw better pictures. To achieve these goals, I will listen carefully in class, actively participate, diligently do my homework at home, and practice drawing more.”
These sincere reflections all meet at one common point: the desire to become better every day. This may be the wish to spread love to the community, the effort to study more diligently, the determination to develop a new skill, or simply the nurturing of the pure dreams of childhood.
As we step into 2026, every goal and every hope is like a small seed planted with sincerity and determination. When these seeds are nurtured in the loving, understanding, and supportive environment of Sydney School, they will surely grow into beautiful values.
