Following a series of Kick-off sessions held on February 4 and 6, TEDx SISS Youth 2026 is now ready to welcome Jaguars who are willing to step beyond their limits and take the stage with compelling speeches. Now in its third year, TEDx SISS Youth continues to serve as a platform where big ideas are voiced, inspiring stories are shared, and personal perspectives are confidently expressed.
Three key themes inspire this year’s competition:
- Grace Is A Superpower
- Leadership Starts with Me
- Fail, Learn, and Try Again: The Courage to Keep Going
Each theme represents a journey of self-discovery, opening up space for diverse viewpoints and unique ideas. This March, Jaguars will take to the stage for the School Round, where the School will have the opportunity to listen to their presentations and select the most outstanding speakers for the Grand Finale, which is expected to take place this April.

As Tet arrived, our SISS “happy residents” dressed in traditional Ao Dai enthusiastically took part in the Spring Festival, themed “Stride with Heart – Lead with Grace”. Within a setting that blended traditional charm with a touch of modernity, students explored and experienced Vietnamese folk games, contributing to the preservation of our nation’s beautiful cultural heritage.

The Jaguars’ New Year became even more meaningful as they shared the joy of Tet with children at the Thu Duc Youth Village. From essential items to thoughtfully prepared gifts and heartfelt wishes by the Jaguars themselves, every contribution carried the SISS community’s hope that the children’s Tet would be filled with happiness and love. The visit to Thu Duc Youth Village was also a valuable experience that helped students grow into responsible individuals who care for and contribute to the community around them.

The slogan “Say No to Bullying, We Choose Kindness” echoed throughout the SISS campus as students took part in Pink Day – “A Day in Pink, Seeds of Love”, held on 25 February. Dressed in pink – a colour symbolising love, unity, compassion, and care – Jaguars decorated the Friendship Tree, watched short films on bullying prevention, shared their thoughts on bullying and how to prevent it, and created meaningful cards.

Members of the Cheerleading Club, together with teachers and other students, also joined a delightful dance to the song “Tinh Ban Dieu Ky” as part of the “Happy Jaguars Go Viral” Dance Challenge. Through this activity, the School community was encouraged to stand together against all forms of violence, particularly school bullying, while spreading positivity and kindness to those around them.
Participating in the periodic fire safety drill
The vibrant month of February concluded with a Fire Safety Drill conducted on 26 February 2026. This regular activity helps teachers and students strengthen their knowledge and skills in fire prevention, firefighting, rescue, and evacuation procedures, while also raising awareness of individual roles and responsibilities in maintaining safety.

In addition to attending theoretical training on emergency exits and appropriate responses in the event of a fire, students also took part in an emergency evacuation drill under the supervision and coordination of the teachers. Through this exercise, students were able to further reinforce their fire safety knowledge and develop practical skills to respond effectively in emergencies.
