International Mathematics Olympiad IMEC 2024
Goals
One of the most significant disciplines, Mathematics is taught in the majority of curricula worldwide. For students interested in this subject of study, hundreds of competitions on various scales are organized annually.
Among them is the IMEC International Mathematics Olympiad. This year, students all around Vietnam also have the chance to take part in this global tournament where they may challenge their knowledge in math and abilities in calculating, logical thinking, synthesis, and problem-solving against peers from across the globe.
Information
Participants: Prep – Year 10
Registration Deadline: December 25th, 2023
National Round: Take the online exam on January 28th, 2024
International Round: Take the exam in Baku, Sydney, or London from March 22nd to August 10th, 2024 (Depending on the location the student chooses)
Candidates with high scores will also be awarded Medals and Certificates by the Organizing Committee. In particular, high-ranking candidates in the National Round will have the opportunity to win tickets to compete in the International Round with candidates from many other countries.
