A message of gratitude to our dedicated “boatmen”
On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, November 20, our Jaguars not only created adorable handmade cards for their teachers but also shared heartfelt words of appreciation.
In November, when the leaves begin to change colors and the weather turns gently cool, school campuses across Vietnam become livelier and brighter with heartfelt flowers and handmade cards sent to dedicated teachers.

Responding to that spirit, on November 20, 2025, students of Sydney School came together to create handmade cards filled with their most sincere feelings, expressing gratitude to the teachers who have always walked beside them. Each message written on their handmade cards was not only a note of appreciation but also a promise to pursue their dreams with effort and determination under the guidance of their teachers.

President Ho Chi Minh once affirmed, “Teachers are the sowers of future seeds,” reminding us that teachers are not only guides and mentors, but also the ones who nurture young minds so they may grow strong, happy, and full of potential.
Sharing about the teacher she admires the most, Le Cao Tue Anh expressed:
“In Year 5, I was fortunate to have Ms. Tran Vu Nam Binh as my Homeroom Teacher – a teacher I deeply respect and love. Ms. Binh is not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly dedicated to her students. For classmates who struggle, she patiently explains every step, every calculation, never showing a hint of frustration. She always tells us that each student is like a seed that will sprout and flourish when cared for properly. Her words make us appreciate and love her even more. Whenever we make mistakes, she doesn’t scold us harshly. Instead, she gently explains what is right and wrong so we can understand. Her kind, patient way of teaching inspires us to always try our best, so we won’t disappoint her.

To me, Ms. Binh is not only a teacher but also a second mother at school. She teaches us knowledge, but more importantly, she teaches us how to live, how to love, and how to help the people around us. Thanks to her, I have become more mature, more hardworking, and more confident in my studies.
As my final year in Primary School slowly passes, the thought of parting from her makes me nostalgic and sad. I quietly promise myself to study harder, so I won’t let her dedication go to waste. In my heart, Ms. Binh will always be a beloved teacher and a guiding light for my academic years.”

Entering the first year of Secondary School is never easy, and every student faces challenges in adapting to a new environment. For Bui Minh Ngoc, those difficult moments were made easier thanks to her beloved Homeroom Teacher, Ms. Le Nguyen Thuy Tram.
“To me, she is not only a teacher, but also a gentle companion who always listens and understands. I still remember the moments when she sat beside me, patiently explaining difficult lessons and talking with me to ease my worries. Those moments showed me her sincere care and gave me the strength to become more confident and resilient.
What I love most about her is that whenever I’m sad, she appears like a warm source of comfort. Whenever I face a problem, she is always patient in helping and supporting me. Above all, she listens to me with love and understanding, making me feel safe and protected.

On this Teachers’ Day, I want to send her my most heartfelt gratitude: Thank you, Ms. Tram, for teaching, supporting, and accompanying me with so much love and dedication. I wish you good health, happiness, and the unwavering passion to continue inspiring us.”
Thank you, Jaguars, for your sincere words – a meaningful way to wrap up November, the month of gratitude and appreciation. On this special day, the Sydney School community wishes all teachers good health, happiness, positivity, and a lasting passion for their profession.
