An energetic kick-off to the academic year 2026 – 2027

The SISS community enthusiastically welcomed the academic year 2026 – 2027 at the First Day of School, with passion, unity, and positive energy.

As August arrives, Sydney School (SISS) welcomes our beloved Jaguars back to their “second home” with the First Day of School, featuring a series of exciting, fresh, and engaging activities.

More than just a space to spark energy for the new academic year, the event was also where SISS captured countless adorable and heartwarming moments of Jaguars after a long summer apart. There were moments when names were called with affection, handshakes filled with the joy of reunion, little feet running around the happy school, and radiant smiles as students took part in exciting activities.

Amid the excitement of the first day of school, SISS is delighted to welcome back Jaguars who have been with the School throughout the past year. For new members of the SISS family, First Day of School was perhaps a special beginning, a place where initial fears and shyness gradually gave way to joy, excitement, and a sense of belonging in their shared home through fun-filled and laughter-filled games. The School hopes that this new journey will be filled with positive emotions, confident steps forward, and the warmth of having someone by their side to accompany and share.

The academic year 2026 – 2027 of the SISS community has officially begun. Let’s close the “chapters” of the past and open a new one titled “The Leap Forward: Born to Leap – Build to Lead” – a chapter where every Jaguar moves closer to becoming the best version of themselves through their unique strengths, aspirations to go further, and readiness to break through. In particular, for our Year 1 and Year 6 students, this year also marks a meaningful milestone as they officially step into a higher level of education, with new experiences waiting to be discovered.
