Aussie Day
Goals
To celebrate Australia Day on January 26, 2024, Sydney International School System will organize the “Aussie Day” festival with a number of activities for students. Participating in activities during the “Aussie Day” festival will provide an opportunity for SISS students to share in the joy of celebration with the people in the Land of Kangaroos. At the same time, students will also have a chance to learn about a country with one of the most long-standing cultures and education systems in the world.
Participants
- Prep – Year 5 Students: 43 Nguyen Thong Campus
- Years 6 – 7 Students: 157 Ly Chinh Thang Campus

Activities in the Assembly
During the January Assembly held at campuses, Prep to Year 7 students will:
- Sing the Australian National Anthem.
- Participate in the “Australian Animals Rescue” game.
- Correctly guess the answers and win a “secret” gift from the School.
