They are always surrounded by loving parents, dedicated teachers, and supportive friends. These relationships have become a great source of encouragement, helping Jaguars grow more confident, resilient, and determined on their path of knowledge.
Family – The Lighthouse Guiding Jaguars
Nguyen Ngoc Thao Uyen, a lovely Jaguar, could not hide her happiness when sharing about her family and the constant support she always receives from her parents.
“If I were a small boat drifting across the vast ocean, my parents would be the lighthouse that shines and guides my way. In learning, my parents are the ones who orient me and create opportunities for me to access a modern educational environment. Thanks to that, I not only gain knowledge but also develop independent thinking and creativity. I am encouraged to read, explore, and nurture my passion for learning every day. At the same time, my parents are my firm anchor, guiding me through challenges so that I can grow stronger each day.
Not only in learning but also in life, my parents take care of my health, habits, and character. They always teach me to live a healthy lifestyle, value hard work, practice sports, and dare to try new things. Thanks to that, I have broadened my understanding, becoming more confident and courageous in life.
My mother is also a gentle companion, teaching me how to take care of myself, develop social skills, and share love with others. It is through this boundless love and silent sacrifice that I can grow up in a warm, loving home, feeling true happiness every single day. Because of that, I understand that I need to strive harder, not only to achieve success but also to be worthy of my parents’ devotion and expectations.”
Teachers – The Tireless Flame-Keepers
For Nguyen Anh Khoi, his learning journey at Sydney School has been marked by many memorable experiences with caring teachers and kind friends. He shared:
“During my time at Sydney School, the teacher who impressed me the most was Ms. Tran Vu Nam Binh, my Homeroom Teacher in Year 5. She not only devotedly imparted knowledge but was always ready to help us in many ways and constantly encouraged and motivated us. That made me and my classmates more confident whenever we came to class.
There were times when I struggled in my studies, yet she patiently explained and guided me, helping us improve and retain knowledge more effectively. What impressed me most about Ms. Binh was her dedication and deep care for each student. I am very grateful to her and hope that one day I can help others the way she has helped us.”
Friends – Trusted Companions on the Journey
Beyond family and teachers – the firm anchors in children’s lives – friends are the close companions on every Jaguar’s journey of growth. Doan An Nhien shared:
“I have a friend who has been with me since Kindergarten. Her name is Ngan Truc. We always help each other whenever needed. When I once forgot to bring my box of crayons, Truc immediately shared hers with me. We support each other in group work. Learning and playing together have made our friendship even stronger, and I cherish her very much.”
