“Grow in Grace” – Jaguars in action

With the spirit of “Grow in Grace” in April, Jaguars have gradually elevated their thinking, courage, and demonstrated a sense of responsibility towards the community through a series of engaging and inspiring activities.

“Grow in Connection” – A journey of love

The Easter Day Baking Workshop brought a breeze of love to the early days of April, spreading throughout the SISS community. In the cozy atmosphere of the workshop, families came together to decorate lovely, colorful cupcakes inspired by the Easter theme.

Throughout the process of creating their products, sweet conversations, joyful laughter, and loving glances among family members contributed to a truly meaningful and memorable experience.

Each cupcake was a result of careful attention, personal creativity, and the skillfulness of Jaguars, along with the dedicated support and companionship of their parents. The students could not hide their joy and pride as they admired the creations they had made themselves.

The workshop was also an opportunity for Jaguars to learn more about Easter Day and its symbolic elements, such as bunnies, eggs, and the meaningful messages of rebirth, hope, and love.

“Grow in Confidence” – A journey of brilliance

The most remarkable highlight of mid-April was the moment when SISS’s outstanding “young speakers” showcased their talent and stage presence at the Final Round of the TEDx SISS Youth 2026, delivering powerful speeches filled with sharp thinking and confident demeanor.

Each presentation was a personal story with its own emotional depth, storytelling style, and message, reflecting each contestant’s unique identity. The students not only captivated the audience with their language proficiency and presentation skills but also left lasting impressions on the hearts of listeners.

As the TEDx SISS Youth 2026 journey reached its final stage, it also marked the moment when Jaguars broke out of their “cocoon of challenges” and shone brilliantly under the proud gaze of their parents and the recognition of the School. The awards in each Jaguar’s hands stand as clear proof of their growth journey, as they continuously improved themselves, conquered challenging milestones, and opened up new perspectives on the world around them, ready to move forward on their future paths.

“Grow in Awareness” – A journey of spreading

Towards the end of April, Jaguars, as global citizens, actively responded to Earth Day, an important environmental event worldwide.

With a sense of responsibility combined with a love for nature, each student enthusiastically participated in meaningful activities under the theme “Our Earth, Our Future” to spread messages of environmental protection and join hands in preserving the beauty of our planet through practical actions.

Students brought used batteries and electronic devices to the collection area at SISS, where the School arranged for them to be sent to specialized units for proper classification and environmentally friendly processing. At the same time, the students expressed their creativity through colorful drawings of their beloved Earth. Each action, though small, carried great meaning, reflecting the Jaguars’ spirit of “for a greener planet”.

Through these activities, students not only raised their environmental awareness and gained a clearer understanding of electronic waste treatment processes but also developed sustainable habits, contributing to building a green, clean, beautiful living environment.

The “Grow in Grace” journey of April has come to a close, bringing many memorable experiences and meaningful lessons. These serve as a strong foundation for Jaguars to continue growing and confidently take on the challenges ahead.
