Jaguars Celebrate the Festivities
October was full of excitement with special events, including Mid-Autumn Festival, Vietnamese Women’s Day, and Halloween brought Jaguars plenty of joy and unforgettable memories at their happy home.
Mid-Autumn Festival
Another Mid-Autumn season has returned to the SISS happy home, where Jaguars continue to write their colorful childhood stories alongside family, teachers, and friends. This year’s reunion festival became even more special as students and their Parents joined hands to make sweet, love-filled mooncakes during the Mooncake Making Workshop.

In addition, Jaguars and the SISS family immersed themselves in traditional folk games rich in Vietnamese cultural identity, as well as vibrant lion and dragon dance performances during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Through these heartfelt experiences, the students not only strengthened their teamwork spirit and contributed to building a close-knit student community, but also carried with them a sense of national pride to keep moving forward.

Vietnamese Women’s Day
Not only do Jaguars nurture the courage to become future leaders, but they also nurture warm hearts that spread kindness and love to everyone around them. On the occasion of Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20), the students crafted lovely handmade cards adorned with heartfelt, carefully written messages to express their gratitude to the extraordinary women in their hearts. Jaguars’ meticulous attention to detail in every step of the process made these small gifts for their beloved women truly priceless.

Halloween
October came to a lively close with Halloween, where Jaguars joyfully transformed into farmers harvesting their crops or adorable fairy-tale characters. Beyond bringing joyful moments and laughter, the Halloween-themed activities also helped students learn about the festival’s origins, understanding that it is a time to honor and express gratitude to ancestors, closely tied to the Vietnamese tradition of “when drinking water, remember its source”.

In addition, meaningful messages about environmental protection, reducing waste, and preventing land and water pollution were also conveyed throughout the event. Through that, Jaguars not only enjoyed a festive celebration but also developed life skills and strengthened their sense of social responsibility – spreading positive energy and inspiring the SISS community to stride forward on the journey of “Stride with Heart – Lead with Grace”.
