Leadership, Creativity, and Breakthrough

With unwavering determination, boundless love, and a strong sense of responsibility, the teachers of Sydney School kicked off the new academic year with inspiring activities at the beginning of August 2025.

Taking place in early August 2025, the Professional Development (PD) Week for the academic year 2025 – 2026 received enthusiastic participation from SISS teachers who are helping to complete the vibrant picture of our shared home. For new members, PD Week was an opportunity to meet their colleagues and served as a bridge to become familiar with SISS’s dynamic spirit of dedication and creative working environment.

Throughout the training sessions, teachers were guided through the School’s mission, vision, and educational goals for the new academic year. They also collaborated to improve classroom management skills, optimize teaching methods, explore innovative ways to integrate technology, and learn to apply new digital tools to bring modern learning experiences to students. At the same time, teachers reaffirmed their commitment to SISS’s mission of nurturing a happy education based on the New South Wales curriculum (Australia), helping students step by step to grow into happy digital citizens.

For our teachers, Jaguars are the young companions they always look forward to supporting, whether in navigating their learning journey, cultivating joy in daily life, or overcoming personal challenges. Teachers understand that Jaguars are like growing trees reaching for the sunlight, together forming a forest of happiness.

To nurture young “green shoots”, the “gardeners” themselves must also be nourished with happiness. From this spirit, a team-building activity was organized as part of PD Week, giving teachers the chance to play, laugh, and “explode with energy”. Beyond being simply a recreational event, it was also a moment to recharge, connect hearts, and boost motivation so that every teacher could return to class with enthusiasm, inspiration, and love.

Only when teachers themselves are happy can the garden of happiness that Sydney School nurtures grow strong and flourish. Let us continue to walk side by side with the Jaguars, lead with our hearts, inspire others, and spread happiness across our academic community!
