Always present in every moment of learning and experience, the Hall Monitors at Sydney School are like the “hands of a clock”, quietly accompanying and gracefully guiding the journey of our Jaguars.

Each day, their responsibilities are divided into different phases. Beyond ensuring the safety of the School, they also take on the role of observing and caring for students.

Mornings at Sydney School always begin with abundant positive energy, not only from cheerful songs but also from the bright smiles of the Hall Monitors. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Duy shared, “Morning duties are quite interesting because they feel like a wake-up bell, helping us start a new day full of energy.” From welcoming students from their Parents, guiding them to class, and ensuring they have breakfast on time to supporting Homeroom Teachers in taking attendance, mornings are always bustling with activity for the Hall Monitors.

Throughout class time, Mr. Huynh Trung Hieu and other Hall Monitors maintain order, remind students to follow the rules, handle any arising situations, and ensure a safe, active, and healthy learning environment. He added, “Through careful observation and attentive listening, I can respond promptly to any situation, helping maintain a safe, disciplined, and friendly learning environment for all beloved students. At the same time, I make sure they eat on time, rest well, and enjoy the quietness they need to stay focused in class. I also care for their physical and emotional well-being, keeping track of their moods each day to ensure they have a fulfilling and joyful learning experience.”

“Because every school day should be a happy day!” – Although afternoon routines may seem repetitive, Mr. Hoang Van Phuong finds them deeply meaningful, as they allow him to support students in returning to the loving arms of their Parents after a productive and happy day. He also hopes that the Hall Monitors’ work not only reassures Parents when entrusting their children to the School, but also shares the daily responsibilities with Teachers and brings more joy to Jaguars on their learning journey.

The growth journey of Jaguars is always accompanied by every member of the SISS family. Along the way, the Hall Monitors’ work resembles a “clock” that silently guides and reminds, helping students stay on pace, live with discipline, and move forward with confidence, making every step more meaningful and fulfilling.
